iCarsoft versions....which is best for my cars?

Thinking about getting one of these to help me out with my car as my Torque Pro and Foxwell NT301 are good but limited on Mercedes compared to some models I've plugged into.....but there are various versions for Mercedes. Which would be better for my W212 and W169 models and would there be any real gain getting the newer one on two old cars?.....anyone got one for sale?

Looking further into it, it looks like Ill be needing the V3. version.....so you can activator/test individual components....which I think you cannot do on V2.....Am I correct? Anyone got a V3 for sensible cash!!

Just be careful buying an iCarsoft 'off the internet' I understand here are copies around that will not accept free (or any) upgrades. I just gave my iCarsoft MB2 away to a family member.

I will be in the market for another scan tool soon ....about Christmas time

The mb3 was brilliant for my 17 reg e350 , yet totally rubbish on my 18/19 reg glc350 . Thanks mb for changing protocols on all ECUs and communications. I even bought a cr pro . It's also a chocolate fireguard in a box. But yes the mb3 reads all live data from most if not every component.

I have a CR Max.i emailed icarsoft about the ability to export previously logged data from the device. No response received.

I then bought a Autel AP200 (cheap Bluetooth dongle). I had problems logging into their app, so emailed them. They responded and fixed in 24hrs.They then followed up to check all was ok a few days later

So my next device will be an Autel.

Lad at work has a topdon , informed me it's a good bit of kit . I need to find something that's going to read my glc , icarsoft just isn't doing it at all for some reason. In fact I put it onto a 2020 e220d just the other day , just the same - rubbish. !!

Bargain and a good unit , the mb3 was more for dpf issues , but non ever worked.

Up dated and used on the wife's A Class already...no faults...will try it on the 212 ....after I fix it!
