I'd Pay Good Money For a Tilt Steering Wheel In A 124

i cant see anyone doing this mod to sell it on..... it wont be popular enough to warrant it IMO. The cost of parts will be quite a lot, probably hard to source and then probably require some modification.

Conversely I would prefer my wheel to be adjusted up, being 6' 5" the car fits me very well indeed, the most legroom I have ever had in any car, BUT the wheel is a tad low, so I cannot see the top of the fuel gauge and have to tilt my head to check, I cannot see the low fuel light for example.

but with the 124 seats being able to adjust "every whichway" as standard, I cannot see the problem you are trying to solve.

All it does is add more weight and more complexity, and something else that can cause a problem.

Think Lotus, 'lean and mean'.

I can see what he means. Getting the seating just right is only part of getting well set up behind the wheel.

The wheel needs to be adjusted in such a way that the top of it is easily reached with your shoulders against the back of the seat. If you have long legs you sit far back, and maybe you pull the wheel out so its easier to reach, but maybe when you have it nice and reachable at quatre to 3, the top of it just catches the instrument cluster making them hard to read.

If you can just tilt it up half a cm, job done.
