Anyone know what the ideal driving tyre pressure for a CLK 230 Cabrio (2001) is?
Go by what it says inside the fuel flap .
....and remember to check the pressure when the tyres are stone cold....
Well that's the thing, is that absolute? cos I'm tryiong to diagnose my tyre skipping problem and was wondering if tyre pressure needs to be different between the front and the back?
Front and back should be different pressures anyway shouldn't they dependant on loading ?
How many people do you normally have in the car , with how much luggage ? If its just you , then run the tyres at the pressure they indicate for light loading.
All my mercs ( this one included ) have the skip you indicate when on full lock , just creeping forward. Nothing to worry about.
yep, 90% of the time it's jsut me in the car.
ok, will do - thx
