Hi,
Mercedes E350 Coupe 2008/9 had various issues, and only some of them fixed, I removed the black part of the turbo actuator to see if there was any broken links etc, I then took it to a local electronics guy to see if he could check the connections and possibly solder if needed, unfortunatley he was unable to solder, however since putting the cover back on the car is running better, not continual low rev bucking or occasional high rev bucking, its now far more intermittent , so this leads to think the actuator is at fault. I have attached images to help with identification, I am reluctant to take it fully off as the batwing thing has been on and off car about 8 times recently and I am worried something else will break, I also need my car running however badly to be able to see my Dad in hospital 200 miles away, so would like to have a replacement before taking the current one off, I have seen so many online and don't want to gambe on the wrong one and be worse off than I am just now. If any other info would help let me know, I appreciate this is a long shot. Thanks

There should be a G number on the case , something like G277 it might be on the back or underneath . You need that number to get a matching actuator .

I have tried every angle even a small mirror but cannot see it, probably will have to take it off, thanks for responding.

It’s on the metal case , look carefully in the middle of the screenshot from eBay
