If I had the money......

Obviously the dogs 8ollocks but £230k 😱 even if I did have that much dosh under the sofa I certainly wouldn’t pay that much for it to be sat in the garage 99% of the the time.

It’s for folk for whom £230k is chump-change. I’m not one of those folk by the way... :)

What would this have cost originally?

One on AT for £94k with only 14k miles...

Tiss a handsome beast that but 230K..... I think I'd have a battle with Mrs Sub5 even if I did have the semolians....and I know who would win 💪

Ok, now I am getting the picture; this one is trying a bit too hard at £230k!

Lots of missed annual services could be room for negotiating!!!

For the avoidance of doubt, that is a CLK DTM not a Black Series.
Bonhams sold one for £225,000 in 2015 and prices have risen. Price new was in excess of £180,000 in 2005.

Was too lazy to spot that big difference...!

IMO, many better drives to spend 230K on.

obviously better cars to spend that amount of cash.
I would go for the Supra factory modified by TRD, but regarding the CLK it's good as investment imop.

It’s a lovely thing. But the price is crazy when a low miles bog standard CLK63 can be had for £15k - £20k. Is the DTM version really worth 10 times the price?

It's worth what a buyer is prepared to pay for it. Judging by its recent history, the current owner bought it as an investment and is now looking to realise that investment.

As a car to drive, is it worth £230K? Of course not. The first owner drove it, but after that, it became either an investment opportunity, or the motoring equivalent of a trophy wife. "Look what I can afford..." (but doesn't get much action...)
