it has just been stolen. The company (no connection but their beef is exceptional) has a little electric delivery van and it was last seen in the Canning Town area.

If chasing, remember it has the top speed of 35mph and will probably run out of charge in a few hours:

Joking apart, who would want to nick that and for a small business a real pain.

For steak porn - East London Steak . It's all British (no Argie stuff) from rare breeds and hung to perfection.

A dishonest small business ? It would be in demand amongst small companies who wish to avoid the congestion charge on a daily basis and would probably command quite a decent price.

Usually thefts of scooters, milk floats and other small electric vehicles tends to be by joyriders who end up ditching them in a canal or burning them to hide the evidence...

Sad, but it's unlikely they'll ever get the van back...

I think we'll call that the Corned beef wagon...

Good news - it's been recovered missing a stereo (an amateur job) but otherwise fine.

Perfect opportunity to beef up the sounds then.

No Joking, I saw a whole lorry load of these being delivered a couple of days ago - somebody is obvious planning on using them, maybe for parking patrol? or even stocking up for the Olympics?

The ones I saw didn't have the boxes on the back, but there were definitely about 15-20 cabs.

Boom, tsch! :)

Are you a steakholder in this business? :D

Ah you've got me on my exposed flank. I'd like to skirt the issue but you'd probably want to fillet me. Alas, I wasn't even offered the rump of the business. Still, despite this I regularly ribeye their products.

At least the van's German-sounding owner was rightly optimistic that it would be returned. As it disappeared into the distance, he was heard to say "veal meat again"...

while bemoaning how English brats are the wurst...

Steak porn :D

As a confirmed steak junkie, that website had my mouth watering.. "currently cutting belted galloway". I managed to score 4 pounds of belted galloway fillet from the owner of a local smallholding last year and it was to die for...

Curse you Charles.. I now have the munchies, and not an ounce of steak in the house!

Cheers,

Gaz
