Hi,
I am unable to reply to Member Will's post about a Rover SD1 Twin Plenum Vitesse D186 VCF he used to own (as I'm registered as a new Member) and I was the one who bought it off him, so:
I sold D186 VCF along with another Blue coloured Twin Plenum SD1 D115 YDO to an Australian guy Bruce Reynolds (not the Bruce Reynolds) who lived in Australia, so thus these cars were exported in 2003 to Australia. I advertised the two cars together and had various calls about them, one guy from the UK was interested in an engine for his Landrover! so, thus to avoid the UK buyer calamity I decided they'd probably have a better life in Australia away from the UK climate and the ever present threat of the Banger Racers. Bruce is a car fan and involved in Engineering in his work, so both cars went to a good home in I feel and there aren't many SD1's in Australia.
I apologise for the non-Mercedes post here.
