Nah I've examined this car in detail and it has not been smashed. In any event the creaks are coming from the seat and top of dash, hardly areas to be affected by a smash. Besides 15K in 10 months looks like this car has not been off road for any period of time.

More specifically the creak is coming from the lumbar adjustment area in the seat back and the dash creak is coming from the incredibly poor quality plastic used at the underside of the instrument cluster (as far as I can tell).
