I'm back & thinking about a 2011 (onwards) SLK (not CLK)

Hello to all that remember me from a few years back and thought I would have a look what response and realised have made a stupid error of titling my thread CLK instead of SLK. As I can't seem to delete my original post I have reposed and apologise for the confusion.
After selling my CLK 350 convertible I had Porsche Cayman, BMW F10 and a Jaguar XK which is currently for sale. I am now considering a 2011 or newer low mileage CLK for around £12000. I am not bothered about how thirsty the engine is as this is will not be my every day driver as I have a second car but in saying that not keen on a 3.5 V6 as I know they have problems and assume it would be the same engine as my old W209.
I need to know what problems to look out for and what are the best buys.

So do you mean SLK or CLK?

If SLK, then I think you mean the R172.
Engine options are:
1.8 I4 Turbo (200 and 250), 3.5 V6 (350) and 5.4 V8 (AMG 55) and 2.1 I4 TDI (250d)

I thought that the V6 unit had been sorted out by 2011.. If I was looking for an SLK, I'd drop into SLKworld.com and ask around. Good luck.
