Im gonna be selling my E350... selling advice appreciated!

I have some selling advice but unfortunatly it has to do with dropping the price.....

This appears to be the third car you've pretended you wanted to sell. :D

never pretending.. otherwise y would i bother spending on advertising etc.. lol..

she does need to go as I think the s class suffices... for now :)

I'm baffled on a number of points.
1. However often people ask about the service record (when done, at what miles and by MB dealer or an indie) no answer is forthcoming.
2. Similarly no answer comes to questions about how many owners. Was it a demonstrator first or what?
3. Why does it have an AMG badge on the back. Surely the only AMG was the E55. A few bits of body kit and oversized wheels don't make a proper AMG do they?
4. I assume it is an Avantgarde plus mods in which case Glass's Guide show it as having a part ex value of £12k to £13k in good to excellent condition, with 25k miles on the clock.

To many people bodykit reduces the value, but I suppose some will pay more for it.

Spot on Hawk. 18 months ago a family member paid 22 for an 05 E350 estate with every option bar airmatic but only 8k miles from a main dealer.

Boss seems to be on something illegal (again)

Why didn't you buy an Audi A8?

because there is a new one coming out very soon and the current one depreciates heavily, which is great for a deal, but not for ownership..

Plus Audis have never been my kind of car..

im very often used to an A4 or before that, the A3, and i found the front wheel drive unappealing..

I know the A8 is different, but the stigma is still associated to the smaller models which makes the A8 unappealing for me, but a nice car none the less.

I'll just quote this in the hope that Boss fanices answering.

I'll hazard a guess that the history is not MB, am i right?

If you don't want to sell your cars (i'll also hazard a guess this isn't your car, as in you're the registered keeper) then why advertise them? The prices are so obviously inhibitive to the sale, why bother?
