There is a very small part of me that likes these era of Lancer Evos.

I think they are too hardcore for me now but if I had the space and the spare dosh, I'd consider one.

A mate of mine bought an Evo 6 from new. Then took it to Ralliart.
20K later, it had 450bhp and just about every mod possible.
I was lucky enough to drive it a few times. :D

Without doubt, the quickest and most capable car I've ever driven.

Oooh, me likely too.

A friend of mine had several of these in quick succession - unfortunately, his driving skills (and lack of self-discipline) weren't up to the Evo's performance, and I think he stacked 3 of them before moving onto something less bitey.

They do take a lot of looking after though - think the service interval is 3,000 miles! Hence why I stuck to Imprezas.

Nice though, and if used lightly and kept in that sort of condition, depreciation should be zero.

Cheers,

Gaz

Can't believe this is in Great Missenden, a place we know quite well as daughter's inlaws live there. It is, to us, far to civilised a place for such an Essex chavmobile!:dk::dk:
