I'm Looking for an R230 SL Interior Rear Trim Panel

I'm hoping to find the part listed below for less than the £1,100+ quoted by my MB main dealer.
I have to say that I'm often happy to buy a MB part, at a premium, but, £1,100+ for a moulded plastic part that, at most, costs about £50, is a bit too steep for my pocket.
I'd hoped that it would be below about £300 . . . . . .shows what I know!
If anyone can help, I'd be eternally grateful

I would look for a secondhand part, and try US suppliers on eBay.

I'd second US resellers on eBay, as there are some like MB Newcastle and the like who are Merc dealers with good prices. I was recently looking at a trim piece, and it was half the price for genuine from dealers via the above option. I didn't go for it in the end, as postage was £60 and the half price part was £60 instead of £120 here in the UK so no saving, but half of £1,100 could be worth it if that is the case?

Edit: as in, just like with MB Newcastle, find some dealers etc selling loads of Merc parts on eBay US (even if they don't list your part on ebay) and get in touch with them and see how much they can supply it for.
Specialist US breakers might be another option also, as I do find we get charged through the eyeballs for stuff like this here in Europe.
