I so want one these, I hope they depreciate like hell and in a year or two I can swap my C63 for one :p

They look amazing. I think it's one of the best looking cars around. I want one too!!

I want one but could never afford it :wallbash: Looks stunning Many Congrats and I too understand the need to drive something a little left field :thumb:

You're on pretty safe ground with that hope. Run yourself a PCP quote for one on the Alfa website and look at the projected residual value. It makes a C63 look like a top investment choice :D

Sorry but I don't want one.........

I need one!!! [emoji23][emoji22][emoji22][emoji22][emoji26][emoji22][emoji25][emoji25]

Maybe in a year once the bugs are all ironed out.

I would be of a similar view which will allow the Alfa specialists to become acquainted as I wouldn't touch a Fiat (Alfa) main dealer - been there done that and doubt they've changed. Also at three years I can't imagine they'd hold more than 40% of list even with the seat and brake options.

When all's said and done it could be a stonking buy at 3+ years and it's the only recent new car that's grabbed my attention in a long time.

Congratulations...It's a beautiful beast. Enjoy

Lovely car, ignore the Alfa jokes, they're as relevant as skoda jokes these days.

I think I may be the only person in the world who's not sold on the looks of these. The front just doesn't do it for me unfortunately.

But...it's an epic car and I like that it's currently(?!) not the obvious choice for cars in this bracket.

OP enjoy and I look forward to seeing some more pics!

Oh I think your inference is right the outside lane is about to be flooded with 2.0d versions of these!!

Then it will look nothing out of the ordinary. Pity as it's a belter.

A bit like all those BMW 320d and Mercedes C220d s ??

The whole point of having a flagship M3 or C63 is to get wannabes to buy into the brand b

Obviously. But I like it being new and interesting, all in say is that will soon change. The assumption is that it's a 'better than before' Alfa from a build quality and reliability so it going to sell at a level potentially never seen by Alfa. Saying that it's a highly competitive and sought after segment with an all new 3 series on the way, so it's not going to be playing on its own.

Clarkson reviewed the Alfa in the latest Grand Tour episode, its worth watching.

It is worth watching. Clarksons loved the car with exception of the narrow drivers entry/exit.
I didn't realise Alfa squeezed 504bhp out of the 2.9ltr twinturbo. Excellent work!

Yep with a maximum speed of 191mph!

Just watched a few clips on YouTube. Awesome car! I had two Alfas back in the day...

Interesting that many of the ecstatic reviews feature LHD models with the manual gearbox ----not available in the UK. :(

I don't know what gearbox Clarksons review car had, but I did notice flappy paddles so assumed an autobox. I did see it was a LHD model.
Must take another look as there were hardly any interior shots I can recall.

Love the wheels and looks great side on too.

It may simply be that all the early demonstrators available were LHD ---auto or manual.
Flappy paddles would surely indicate an auto box as you say.
