This picture couldn't have been taken in London.... there are no marks showing on the kerbside.... and I doubt that there are any un-marked kerbs left... no single yellow line... double yellow line... white zigzag... residents parking... nothing.... the council has reclaimed them all by now.

Easy to imagine that they might have come from the same dealership, but in fact UE was a Warwickshire issue and UF was from Brighton, so not as close as they would appear.

Still, it's always good to see a car from that era still wearing its original number plate, thanks in no small part to the fact the there won't be too many people after the letters XUE/XUF.
