I have a Garmin golf GPS thingy (Approach G6) which stores lots of data on each round. Lots and lots and lots of data. It also has a rudimentary scorecard viewer which only works in Internet Explorer (PC version) and doesn't show putts taken or fairways hit, data which is stored in the G6.
The data is stored in XML files, and I have successfully imported a round's worth of it into Excel, but there's a whole heap of extra information which I don't particularly want to display as it just clogs up the screen.
Is there a way I can selectively choose which data elements to import and display? Perhaps a VB macro?
I'm computer savvy, but my programming stopped with Amstrad Basic and machine code for the Z80 and 6502
