Three things have happened in last 2/3 years. The left wing have moved to more to the left. The right wing have more to the right and the fundamentalist have become more extreme. And the problem is that the centre ground has been vacated.

Annual average rate of fatalities (UK) per annum:

Homicide: 500 p.a.
Suicide: 6,000 (including 50 soldiers & veterans) p.a.
RT Collisions: 1,500 p.a.

Terrorist attacks: 6 p.a. (90 people killed since the year 2000)


Q) What is going on ? A) We're getting mesmerised by the media.


Worry about making sure your teenager doesn't kill himself in an RTC or that Uncle Fred doesn't top himself because of Depression. Terrorism is nothing to worry about.

Even with recent events, European terrorism is lower than it was through the fifties, sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties, and noughties..... Here's a source

It's not the number of people that die that is shocking; it's the circumstances in which it occurred.

Now try saying that '16 dead children in 20 years is less than one child a year, so nothing to get worked up about'. That does not sound right at all , does it?

Again, it's not the numbers, it's the circumstances.
