I know a couple in Doncaster if that's any help?

the official mb dealer our family use is europa mb in queens rd is cheapest labour at 60 an hour minimum .
they charged me 60 to use STAR to reset everything in c320 as my local garage disconnected the sat nav command by accident during a repair underneath dashboard which made the car forget it had a TELEPHONE / RADIO / SAT NAV / AMP/ TV as they are all daisy chained dependant in an optic fibre loop apparently.
they also charged £500 to replace the passengers ECU brain box as the whole passenger doors electrics (including folding light/indicator / heated seats / electric seats / electric window failed ) due to a common problem with rain water ingress causing premature rusting / broken connections.
mb in meadowhall on attercliffe next to the porsche garage now called jct600 is very expensive . although there are alot of local garages in peninstone area that have mb knowledge/ STAR kit.
we got to meet up . will be good to see a sheffielder mb driver . what mb u got? c180k coupe. i am hoping to get same model but SE EVO PAN SPEC with leather interior and aluminium trims and AMG alloys

These AUTOTECNIC have been recommended to me by quite a few people, although I've not used them myself yet as they are on the wrong side of Sheffield for me. They're just by Meadowhall.
I'm not sure which part of Sheffield you are in but near me in the south west of the city there are several good independents that although not officially "MB specialists" do a lot of work on Mercs, VW/Audis and Beemers and can be recommended. Let me know if you want details.

JAR Motorsports. They're on the Barbot Hall Industrial Estate, ROTHERHAM. Not an official merc indy, but they've done amazing work on my car, just had b service done, with 4 tyres, new brake lines, fuel lines, think it was just over 600 quid. Recently I had all the injectors done , fuel rail replaced, fuel pumps rebuilt, and a tank drop and flush and reseal. Worked on it for 2 days and nights, bill was just over 250. I have had a lot of work done so maybe they were doing me a deal, but still...

I've used AUTOTECHNIC in the past and they are fine but no cheaper than Europa who I now use. They are an official MB workshop so you get a MB stamp in your service book.
