Independent merc specialist

I'm having a problem with my ml 320 . It seems to have a loss of power every so often and then starts to sound like a 50's tractor . Could do with some advise or a specialist in the fens , near March. Cheers

I think there is a guy who posts on the other UK MB forum that works on MB's.

I don't know if that is the same guy or not?
