I took my 2001 CLK 230 Kompressor to Carluke MOT Centre, who are a independent Mercedes specialist to check my Air Con and my recurring problem with my BAS ESP light coming on. I cannot recommend them highly enough! They charged my air con, checked for leaks, now it is working fine. Kwik fit said the compressor was not engaging, it wasn't because they hadn't charged it properly! My BAS ESP light was repaired by changing the Lateral Acceleration Sensor which another local independent had charged me for 3 years ago who also removed the bulb because he couldn't find the problem then. The repairs were very reasonably priced. If you have a problem with your Mercedes this is the place to go!
