Independents around South Yorkshire?

Hi,

Can anyone recommend any independents around Doncaster/Barnsley/Wakefield/Sheffield area as the A Class has put the engine management light on but seems to run fine.

Also are the Icarsoft MBII any good?

My CLK will be going for it 5th MOT/service by them. Small outfit, very good and reasonable cost.

Had my ATF done around a year or so ago at BJ Mason in Sheffield and always go there now for stuff I can't do myself (or can't be ****d).

He's always booked up for weeks in advance though, as he's a one man band. So if you decide to go there, give them a bell beforehand.

Used these before when I had a Scirocco for a dsg box service, seem pretty good.

Would use them again but not really convenient any more.

Hi I have a a class 180 5 months old (new type ,) the speedo side of the screen has blacked out several times,took it back to the dealers but they had no idea,booked in for a fortnight time,I thought it would be a quick fix but apparently not.

Another vote for these guys. I had my car serviced and MOT'd here in May and from what I could see they did a good enough job. Cheaper than the main dealer plus they gave me free use of a loan car.

Needing Mercedes Auto Electrician in / near Sheffiekd to switch off Check Engine light.
Anyone know any local. Mercedes want £200 and haven't found any local places. Have been to two in Sheffield and Rotherham and neither could connect their diagnostic kits to turn it off. I know some will say just pay the stealers but last two times I've needed it, it only cost £30 & £36.

Thanks for that info. I'm in Worksop and just joined the forum and was looking for a specialist.
