Indicator flew off!

driving down the A12 last night and heard what sounded like something hitting the tyre, got home and found a hole where the passenger side indicator was! must have flew off!

anyone got any passenger side clear bosch ones lying around, or know how much they are at the dealers?, also do you know if they come with the bulb holder?

I thought id ask here before going to the stealers on monday! or even searching ebay!

are we talking about the one next to the headlamp or the one on the wing?

I'm guessing the one by the headlamp. I much prefer the design of the W201, 190E where by you had to tighten a thumbwheel to lock the housing into place as opposed to the W202 design where it just clicks into place.

Happened to me too Alps about a week after getting the car .... was very annoying !!

About £40 for a replacement from the $tealer, I think. Has to be pushed home very very hard until it "clunks" - otherwise what you have described can happen

Anyone remember my car the day after I bought it? Corner indicator fired out on the motorway at about 70-80mph while we were in convoy on the way to the GTG. The guy behind me missed it but the bloke with the carlsson c37 ate it with a 17" carlsson wheel!

The stealership had one in stock though, cost me about £35 for the housing, holder and bulb.

I remember that day, you had my AMG wheels in the boot and on the back seat :bannana: Thanks for bringing them.

mine flew off in the dark, i didnt know it had gone until i got home! 50 miles later!

oh well, just found one on ebay, might just go for it £15 for it with holder an bulb!

looks like i`ll have to buy another pair of those silver bulbs again!

The corner indicator popped off my previous car too, was retrained by the cable and bounced off the AMG front bumper, making a nice scuff there! At least the indicator was retrieved though.

cant see no scuff luckily, but felt the crunch under the front wheel!

Alps, I think I have a pair of spares in the garage. not sure if it's a bosch one or not. I'll have a look later on for you.
