Indicator not staying on please help.

Hi I was worrying if someone could help. When I indicate left it will stay down as normal but if I indicate right the stalk wouldn't stay up

Any ideas please

Mine does the same. A recently met friend also has similar problem, so suspect it is a common issue.
Mine does sometimes work if I move the wheel slightly, but that is only practical really once stopped.

Some problems are made by the replacment of steering items .The garage should put a clamp on your steering wheel in the stright ahead possition.But half of them dont.Then after work is done and tracked up as you turn the wheel its on cancel so wont stay on .If you understand what i am saying .Or the indicator stalk wants replacing.
