i have what appears to be a very common problem. here is the story so far. i took out the K40 relay and had an electronics engineer look at it and he said that it doesn't look like it had any bad solder and the contacts between the relays all seem to be ok and the springs move

so i thought hmm maybe there is another relay, trip to dealer and they confirmed that there was and sold me part number MA002 542 21 19.

hoping it is obvious where it goes and it fixes the problem

someone said turning on the emergency light, where is this? couldn't see it in the handbook

So they get stuck on? Mine did this occasionally...putting the hazard lights on would sometimes help, but usually it just fixed itself.

I wonder could it be F in picture… similar part number.
You may need to remove 6 screws around fuse box to get access to relays, that is, if your fuse box is similar to a W202.

I tried the hazard warning lights and they font work either. K40 relat appears ok. Relays move and pcb engineer couldn't see anything wrong

Will try new relay today
