Indy in South London

A common request it would seem but does anyone use/know a good independant in South London or thereabouts?

Is this too far away ? Never used them myself, only know they are there 'cos we bought Wifey's C180 from a s/h dealer on the same road.

Thanks for the reply. I 'spose I should have said around Streatham way so Wimbledon, Sutton, Croydon etc is close enough tho I'd be happy to go a bit further if the place was known/recommended.

There is AMC in garrett lane (tooting) although i havn.t used them or know any one that has.

I always use Cambridge Autos, West Croydon, near Thornton Heath Pond, so not far from you really.

They are more car sales than servicing, but they do offering servicing facilities (only a 2 lift setup but they cope) and as you will see from their stock list they are definatly used to Mercedes.

I trust them totally and travel from Oxfordshire (I moved) to use them.

I've used AMC and would heartily recommend them - they are very professional and care about solving the problem rather than replacing parts - you can get a hire car while your car is being done (you have to pay but its not much).
I always get my car serviced at the main dealer but ANY additional work which is not part of the servicing I get AMC to do.

Cambridge Autos had their service manager on holiday so I used AMC in the end and was very pleased with their approach and professionalism. Will return in 3-6 months to get a few more things tidied up to make my 190 2.5-16 just how I want it. Thanks for the suggestions.

Glad you got a good deal from AMC.

I too called Cambridge Autos in the last week to be informed the Service Manager was on hols. They would not even take a future booking. This is totally out of character and shocked me. It has even made me stray elsewhere for my next service. A shame as I have spoken of them so highly that I feel thay let me down.

I use a new firm called Mercedes Solutions. Guy Called Nigel Seopardie mobile 01474 706960 He works in areas from Bromley to Gravesend. Good rates, reliable, uses genuine parts. Never let me down yet.

Hi has anybody got the address of AMC? Am looking for a specialist too in South London or Kent. AMC sounds like what I am looking for.
