This is my first post on MB Club but I have been a regular visitor here and benefited from the wealth of information available to MB owners.
This coming July the 3 year Agility agreement I have in place on my C180 will come to an end and I currently have a service plan (with MB Croydon dealership) due to expire at the same time. At that time the car will have had all first 3 services carried out by MB Croydon.
I will be buying the car outright and have made enquiries regarding taking out a new 3 or 4 year service plan. While I currently pay £26 per month, the new plans are both £32 per month.
I will probably keep the car for another 3 years or so and in that time will require one further A and two B services.
My question is whether the service plans represent good value for money (£1152 over 3 years or £1536 over 4 years) or whether I should use an Indy instead?
I have read elsewhere on these forums that as long as the car is serviced by a Mercedes approved Indy it should not drastically affect the future value of the car.
In case the Indy alternative is in fact a better option than the service plan I would welcome recommendations for a good Indy in the Purley/Croydon area.
Many thanks.
