Just got my Home & Contents insurance renewal today.

Thought it a bit high at £522 so a quick trawl of the web and Quotes varied wildly from a low of £163 to a high of £532.
As insurance comparisons are very difficult I discovered that my current insurer (Prudential who give good cover) is underwritten by Churchill so I got a quote from them at £320....one phone call later to the "man from the Pru" and .....matched quote!

It only took one call to get the premium down £200 and a complaint about "inertia selling" tactics!

    ALWAYS check your insurance quotes!
