Why not from Mercedes-Benz UK - Passenger Cars

Not sure if the link works but you can find technical data that includes fuel consumption figures.

Last time I looked the old E class W211 "interactive owners manual" was still available under the ownership and servicing drop down menu. Mercedes-Benz UK - Passenger Cars - Interactive owner's manual the info should be there somewhere.

He means the previous model, I thought the current. The above post tells how to find the latest W211 model data. For earlier models like the 270CDI etc. one would probably have to refer to some old technical data posters. I should have a few on my hard drive if the current on-line manual does not cover the specific engine.

Still not sure which model he is talking about W210 or W211 prefacelift since there was never a 2.7l 5cylinder diesel W210? However for the princely sum of £1-99 the poster can download a data sheet from the Parkers website site on any specific model which will probably? contain the data he wants. e.g. https://secure.parkers.co.uk/cars/information-pack/report.aspx?deriv=23514

Even cheaper than that - go on to the Autotrader website and select a similar model. Look at the tech data on the advert...
