info W124 wing fitment

Looking to purchase a drivers side font wing .The one i can see is for the coupe .Question will the coupe w124 wing fit the saloon w124? .same years .I think i have seen some place that they wont fit . Can anyone say...

Hey Trevor.

I understand the wings for coupe, saloon and estate are the same except for:

A) some have holes for the indicator and some dont.
B) diesel ones have a set off holes for an air vent - petrol don't.
C) 500e wings and bottom outer panel are different.

Other experts I'm sure can confirm tho.

Scott how are things with you ?. I have one wing , lucky it was the same colour as mine .So its just one for the drivers side now.I know of another wing , strange but in the same colour again .But it was removed from Coupe .So i am not sure about it now. I will wait for some one else to support your information .. Thank you .Trev

Charles i dont know why that Central Panels say that their front wings on ebay will fit only saloon and estate only. .

I don't know either, perhaps they do it deliberately to annoy, or are simply incompetent. The EPC shows the same part numbers for wings on estates, coupes and saloons.

To keep all in the picture ,.At the moment i had no answer form the seller.I asked if it was genuine MB wing, plus other things like rust .All i can find out is that it should fit .So i am not building my hope up at this moment in time . Looks as if the seller is away for the week end .

All W124 wings are the same except for the E500/500E and the RHS Diesel with the vents. All wings available from MB now do not have the hole for the side indicator as this was an option so you have to make your own hole.

Just to let all of you know as i said i would.Well i never had the wing .Asking questions as you do about the item on ebay .All questions i was given back were ok ,but for some reason the originality of the wing was left out .So i contacted the seller time and time again with no reply. Till we had words about it .He said it was original and for me being funny over it [and i was ] he would not sell it to me. And to that he said his mate had tripped over and sat on it. I said its funny its still listed on ebay But he did pull the listing off ebay the next day..So i never had the wing in the end .
