Injectors Cleaner for diesel cars

Please advise if it is appropriate and as well approved by MB to use these additive to clean the carbon deposits. What are + and - points if any.

All positive.

Use a can every now and then to keep the injectors healthy.

Dont know the filter set up on the derv mercs but on all the diesel cars i have had when i serviced them i filled the new fuel filter with injector cleaner.
