Evening all, I’ve just bought new injectors for no 03 E55 W211, my original injectors are black, but these are light blue (Bosch 62717) which from what I can gather are the replacements but have slightly bigger capacity. My question is do I need to code these (I’ve got the latest icarsoft) if so there are two sets of numbers/letters on the box, one 6 and one 18, any ideas. Also what’s the best lube fire the o rings, petrol, engine oil, vasaline. Any info or tips gratefully received. Matt.

Did your Bosch injectors come in a sealed box including silver seal over the opening flap ?
Yes they did, lots of knock offs about at the mo.

Matt 58 your right .I purchased 2 Bosch parts ,1 oil filter and 2 an air box filter,, both void of the silver seal on the box lids . I have messaging Bosch in South Africa and they are looking in to it as we speak . I have had so many Bosch parts from this company in the UK , and its the only Bosch items that had no seal on it .
