As above my inlet port shutoff has put the car into limp mode with the orange engine light on.
After a bit of research on this I've been left fuming really as the words 'badly designed turbo' and 'common problem' keep coming up. Then to read mercedes were aware there was a problem and redesigned the turbo seals that cause the problem did little to assist my anger.
Its going in hopefully a week on Monday when I get back from Berlin and im going to get all the 'it wouldn't fail an MOT' bits sorted as well so a nice £1200 for my indie!
Quick question... if I clear the fault code (turning the engine light off) can it be driven the 200 miles to the airport and back or am I doomed to having to take public transport to get to the airport?
W219 CLS 320 is the car bit I know its V6 is used in many mercs.
