Hi Guys..

Dumb HTML question..

I want to be able to insert my pics within the description rather than using ebays format...

I tried entertin
but doesnt work....

can anyone tell me how to do this?

Thanks

<IMG height=x src="http://blah.blah.jpg" width=x <img>

Standard html code.. I believe they have a wizard to help the uninitiated....

You'd need to upload the image to a server first. The HTML code you need is:

<IMG SRC="http://www.pictureaddess.com/picture.jpg">

From memory I think eBay has an option to insert HTML code, although I can't remember for certain.

You may need to do this if it doesn't work at first:

<HTML>
<IMG SRC="http://www.pictureaddess.com/picture.jpg">
</HTML>

cheers chaps, will give it a whizz later on...

If you need to host your images, try imageshack.us
If your going to be trading on ebay it might be worth to get a standard format designed for you, or get a copy of dreamweaver and have a bash yourself.

Hi Guys, Im hosting this image, but it wont show!

http://home.btconnect.com/whitleford/whittleford/cars/Merclanda.jpg

Its definately there, checked the casing etc, but just get a white box with cross!

All my other images work fine... this one is 900x200 pixels whereas the others are 525x400, could this be anything to do with it...

Any ideas?

Thanks

Try re-uploading it, with a known good copy as it may be corrupt.

Tried it several times, I have attached the actual file here... can you see anything wrong?
Cheers

Well your attached file doesnt work either so its obviously corrupted. (unless the picture is supposed to be a red x :) )

You may be able to see a cached version.

My advice is to get the original and re-make the picture and try again.
