Inside leak then aircon and fan stopped...

Yesterday had some water leaking into the passenger footwell, and today the aircon and fan stopped altogether. Manual operation of the fan speed has no effect either

Anyone got any ideas?

I booked in for a service on Monday anyway, so will get them to sort it, but wondered if this is a common or known problem that I could get some advice on before the MB dealer has a look?

..update having left the car for the last 5 hours, I just went past it and there was a fan going under the bonnet, blowing cool air from the vents at the top passenger side of the bonnet through the vents.

Should I be worried, will the battery just give up in the end? All a bit worrying...

Do you think it'll be alright until the morning? Its booked in for a service on Monday anyway.

I doubt it if that fan is running all the time. Mobilo is 24Hrs
