    And all controlled with a Dell Latitude laptop! Very impressive.

    I guess the switches that are taped-over are to remind the technicians not to press them and accidently blast off!

    Don't forget to scroll up to the roof ! When you compare the shuttle computer hardware to the dell laptop there's simply no contest- the dell wins hands down. However if you are talking software its a different story. NASA - Shuttle Computers Navigate Record of Reliability
