Installed dynamic indicators

Watched some useful how to videos on killerhertz AMG channel and installed dynamic indicator lens to my E63. Love the white sequential LEDs, goes well with white car in my humble opinion

Mine came today not ones in link, similar ones, fitted one side but can’t get the drl to work ? Noticed the new indicators had extra white wire ?

That will probably go to mirror mounted puddle lights - if fitted.

The 3rd wire connects to the puddle lights, i just feed the wire to the terminal and twisted the wires around the terminal. The white welcome lights come on when it's dark (night time) because it's powered from the puddle lights. The extra thing I done on mine is I placed some bluetac to where the three wire goes into the lens. I just wanted the lens to be 100 sealed to prevent any moisture/water ingress from car jet wash

Not on the mirror top cover, it's the bulb at the base of the folding mirror unit. You have to feed the white wire to the bulb terminal at the base, any terminal on the bulb will do. It takes power from the terminals. If you look underneath, you can see the puddle lights

Be aware that some models have the puddle lights fitted in the bottom of the mirror but they aren’t connected to the door control module, or coded in.
