installing new stereo

Hi people
Im considering upgrading the head unit on my ML which has the comand 2.0 HK, with something more up to date.
i'm looking to replace it with the Kenwood DNX-8180DABS and keep all the HK stuff in place and meaby just get some Morel components, but will decide later on that after i sound deadening the current HK setup.
so my question is, will the new head unit be able to control/play the whole HK speakers like the stock logic 7 does, or some of them wont work? i mean roof/dash centre speaker?

Hi people
so i got myself the Pioneer AVIC-Z910DAB instead of Kenwood, not installed yet but looks like a nice solid HU.
i have also decided to replace all HK setup including the amp, and will be replacing with Focal 2 way components at the front and 3 way components at rear, to power up everything also the 4 channel Focal amp.
will just keep the HK sub which will be powered by the HU directly.


can someone just confirm if the TPMS is tied to the stock HU?
