I have a long awaited relay which I need to install in the rear SAM of our W164: are there any must dos and don'ts when it come to fitting?

I assume it's the same as a regular fuse, so engine and ignition off, but with battery connected is the order of the day - is that right?

Blimey, I think this might be a first for MBClub. I can't recall ever not getting a knowledgable response to a question.

Any thoughts?

Ooops missed the post BD.

You are correct. Engine & Ignition off, and any circuits which may activate the relay turned off if possible.

Remove & replace :)

Super, thanks Ted. :thumb:

I've left the engine to cool for 6 hours now, in case the suspension or cooling activates.
