Is the model of the car the only detail that changed?

I.e. same address, same owner and named drivers, same annual mileage etc.?

Small things like profession or additional named drivers can make a significant difference to the policy premium.

No everythings the exact same! Can't get my head around how a 5.5 v8 is cheaper than 2.6 v6? it doesn't make sense

There are thousands of factors based on many things. It makes sense to the insurance company clearly.

Maybe more 240s get crashed as there's more of them, or maybe the AMG is normally out of the reach of inexperienced drivers. etc
