Picking up the DB9 on sat so had to sort the insurance.

My 1998 SL320 is insured as a classic and to add the DB9 to the policy is £670 for both cars for a year. (45 / clean / 4000 miles pa)

Its only available if you are insuring a 2nd or 3rd car not your primary car

Not an advert but a very good deal methinks - hagerty insurance

I guess you live in a highly rated area as my four come in at just over a grand.

Yes we are in Birkenhead but the DB9 is a high value and they dont want the CLS55 on it really

Dave, what was the result of the DB9's inspection at AM Derby?

A wooly then...:D

Nope I moved here and dont class myself as a Wirraler / wooly or anything none scouse :D

The DB9 passed an early MOT with no advsories and it needed a new drivers mirror (corrosion) and wheel centres (corrosion), its mats were missing (£300 for 2 fronts) and a stoneguard had fallen off - all put right under warranty.

The Aston extended warranty is cheaper than the Mercs - go figure ??

Upshot is Im picking it up sat lunchtime in Leics and will drive home across the A50 to Stoke and M6 / M56 - when i collect it wil be the first time I have seen it - a shocking risk for myself as I am risk averse

Real pics posted sunday - promise -

Sadly SL wont sell for £8500 and its not worth less than that so it will stay which is no hardship only that it will lose the garage spec it has now and go under a car cover.
