Intercooler Pump

I was going to replace my IC pump on my 04 CL65 with the Bosch 0392022010 one. Does anyone know if this is difficult to fit and if it would be a straight swap for this car? Thanks

Olly at PCS recently fitted the bosch '10' pump on my E55. As I understand it it is a straight swap on the E, not sure if the same on the CL. I'm not sure where you are based but would be worth giving Olly a call, they are in Hordean just off A3 on way to Portsmouth.

Unfortunately I am in Northern Ireland! I just wanted to make sure it was a straight forward swap before I get one - and maybe try and fit it myself as it us hard to find a good independent garage with a good reputation here - u guys over there seem to be spoiled for choice!

No probs, once you have fitted it you'll be able to test it with a nice drive over for the next Eurocharged day to get you car remapped!!

A Eurocharged remap has been on the cards since while. It's just getting the time to get over there that is stopping me! Hopefully in the near future

Does anyone know if the Bosch intercooler pump 0392022010 is available in the UK? - on the net all I can see is from the states priced at $170 including shipping and them whatever import tax on top of that.

I ordered one from ebay $116.90 plus shipping and import charges, total was $169.19.

They were the best deal on ebay at the time and were quoting less than most for shipping. They also deliver to the UK and gave the full import charges so you know what the final price is, which a lot of the others wouldn't. It did take a couple 2 -3 weeks to arrive though, so depends how much of a rush you are in!?

I am in no rush at all, so the wait will be ok. It is good that they incorporate the total price including import tax. Cheers again.

For the fun of it I will give MB a call in the morning to see how much they rip the poor public off!
