Intercooler Pump

Bosch pump

I had mine changed a while back via Mercedes bosch 10 is Merc part number 000 500 03 86, also either changing your pump or if you are having problems pump relay is the 1st step 002 542 83 19 about £7 and could save you a bit of money before condemning the pump.

With the Bosch 10 there is no advantage in fitting the CM30 pump, plenty of videos on you tube showing the same flow rate. Plus the Bosch unit it a direct fit. As Simon said you can get the bosch unit off ebay much cheaper.

Have it ordered from the USA! Would it also be beneficial to get new coolant ?

If so then is there any specific type for my CL65 215 ?

Who are you going to get to fit the pump for you.

As your car is a 65 amg you need special equipment to bleed up the charge coolers.

If they are not bleed up properly the car will be down on power and then the eml will come on also.

I was in two mines if to do myself or get a garage to do it. Based on your info i will be getting a garage to do it,Thanks. As I don't know of any good independent garages in Northern I may have to us a MB dealer!

Would a normal garage have this specialist equipment ?

Im not too sure. It all depends on how well equipped they are.

I dont even have them as the pump failure doesnt happen as often as the 55 engine but this maybe that there is not as many 65's on the road. Or maybe as these have full charge cooler system they arent that prone to failing.

Bumping this again! Would the cool chargers need bleeding if I just clamp all the pipes close to where they connect to the old pump and put in the new one, this way I should not be losing much fluid?

I recently had the bosch '10' pump fitted to my E55. I spoke with MB and they wanted from memory about £280!

I ordered one from ebay $116.90 plus shipping and import charges, total was $169.19.

THIS ONE
NEW Mercedes W203 W215 W230 Bosch Auxiliary Water Pump 0 392 022 010 | eBay

Many thanks Simon.

Just waiting for delivery. Cost $163.73 ( £98.92 ) with delivery at present exchange rate. Which will go very nicely with the Eurocharged Pulley and Map I bought from John ( BFT )

Can't wait for Olly to fit it.
