Where are the sums? How much power to generate the intense radio wave versus the power ouput of the burning fluid?

So he was trying to cure cancer, and accidentally discovered how to burn sea water.

Looks impressive, but I imagine there's a net energy deficit as opposed to gain. Hasn't this been tried before? Maybe in our school chemistry lab?

It all depends on how you crack the hydrogen and oxygen out of the salt water.

Potentially you could power the radio systems from a wind or (more likely) a wave farm. In theory this would be "free" energy.

One question I have is, if you are "burning" hydrogen (at which point it produces water) you are locking away the oxygen. Plants renew our O2 supplies by cracking CO2 and holding the carbon and releasing the oxygen, which they (as far as my GSCE Biology goes) don't do with water.

Why salt water? A brine solution and lots of electricity is a method used to produce Chlorine and Caustic with a small amount of Hydrogen as a bi-produce.
