Interior blower

Hi guys! I drive w202 of 1999 and today something went wrong with A/c system. I tried to turn the power of the blower from 1 to 3 and the blower was running very slow (even on top speed 5). After few hours was working perfectly for few minutes and then happend again.

Also I have changed the blower resistor 3 years ago because sometimes the blower was running itself at any speed with out touch anything.

Do you think the problem is the blower or something else?

Did you replace the resistor with a genuine MB part? The cheap ones seem to have a limited lifespan. Otherwise I would suspect the blower motor itself.

No, because Mercedes told me that stop the production of the parts for this model. Do you know any website for genuine parts?

Sorry don't know of any websites . I would try German Ebay or alternatively join the official MB Club which is more orientated to older cars and have specialists in particular models. Otherwise treat the resistor as a maintenance item and resign yourself to replacing every 3 years.
