Can anyone please tell me if the interior colour code 838A corresponds with the pale grey leather interior in my CLK, a 2004 MY car? I got the code from an online VIN decoder.
I need to recolour and lacquer the rear headrests, which I noticed have become flaky. When I attempted to clean one of them, the outer coating, which I assume is a lacquer, started to peel off in opaque white sheets. It looks like the headrest's got dandruff
The rest of the interior is as near perfect as I've ever seen in a ten year old car so would really like to sort it out. As an aside, has anyone else encountered this sort of problem?
