Hello,
I have the Heater Blower / Interior Fan issue where off button and even Ignition off and key removed wont stop the interior fan from running. In fact when the key is removed the fan ramps up to maximum as in clear windscreen mode. Roadside assist arrived and got under the car and unplugged the fan from the loom ( That is what he told me )
This is a 2013 CLS 250 CDI Blue-CY Sport 70K Miles. It is in the workshop for diagnosis and repair. Will report back when the job is completed. Prior to reaching my destination the car was fine, I came across some traffic entering Brighton and noticed that the fan seemed to be shutting on off on Off intermittently about 5 second intervals. No other indications as I was travelling along I tried to change the pattern of delivery barely noticeable from screen to face, temperature adjustments were extremely slow to respond and virtually no fan speed at all. Currently One Hour fault diagnosis before repair - Cost is £200.

Diagnostics - has found that the controller seal has degraded and condensation has caused corrosion and shorted out the module. ( Very module orientated this service advisor ) 1 hr to fit, Diagnostic check ( £200 ) Part fitted and diagnosed inc VAT £790.00 VAT = £158, diagnostics = £160 ex VAT, Labour guess is £150, part looks to be priced at around £320 JEEZE!
