Hi everyone
I wanted to know what the interior trim of my 99 R129 is called?

Thinking of ordering a steering wheel but don't want to order the wrong colour

Thanks

I you put you VIN in this site it will give the data on the car when it was originally ordered and the spec including the interior spec.

Leather Nappa - Saffron 234A looks pretty clear to me.

My copy of EPC indicates the car's original steering wheel was A170 460 07 03 which was replaced by A170 460 32 03. Colour code is given as 1A61 Java and wheel diameter is 390mm.

Note the original wheel entry had footnote 907 specifying colour 1A78 which also appears to be described as Java. I enclose the colour footnote from both entries.

Code -289 indicates the wheel for your car was not a wood and leather wheel.

Basically
What's the wood trim on my car called?

Bur Walnut? Burlwood ? Zebrano ?

Yup, hard to be sure from photos/video but it looks significantly lighter than the burr walnut in mine (which is 2 years older, so you'd expect it to have faded more if it was down to aging):

Thanks guys

I just don't understand why the wood trim is not stated in the vehicles specifications.

Here's another video of my beat up interior trim. I just received my AMG steering wheel which has another trim.
Not sure if I should match the interior to the wheel or the other way around.

I am now looking for an interior trim to match my wheel which I am not sure is what exactly LOL.

I'm guessing my interior is Burr Walnut, and my wheel is Burlwood?
