intermittant Engine management light and parking sensors

Hi All, Just joined so i suppose i'm a newbie and i need some help already so here goes...
Just bought a 52 plate (but new shape) clk 320 **********e Auto yesterday now all was well and it drives perfect except for the fact that i went to start it yesterday and it took a little bit of turning over this was followed with an engine management light warning telling me i had 1 malfunction, ( this has now dissapeared after the second start) i am also having intermittant working parking sensers, doue anyone know if these might be connected/weather related or a common problem? havn't had a chance to get it to get it to mercedes yet for an diagnostic check. Any ideas? thanks All

I doubt they are connected. The poor start could be the Crank sensor, but it could be many other things as well. It sounds like you need to get the codes read.
