Hi all,
E 250 petrol, auto, 60k mileage.
Intermittent creaking noise coming from the front drivers side, as if it's coming from the windscreen. Driving me potty! I've opened the bonnet and tightened any bolts I could access near the drivers side but the intermittent noise is still there. To be honest there weren't many bolts I could access with the chunky adjustable spanner. I also used silicone spray along all the windscreen and windows seals.
It's not the normal noise you'd expect to hear from the dashboard (I'm used to that), this is more as though something is loose. Noise is more frequent on a hot day / when the engine is hot. You can hear it as you're driving along but can never hear when the car is stationery.
Any suggestions greatly welcomed!
