I have recently purchased a 2002 model 220 coupe, it appears that I may have a problem with the intermittent wipe. When switched to position 1 (intermittent) the wipers seem to work continously at normal slow speed.
The other evening in with a damp windscreen I turned the wiper switch to intermittent (usual normal wipe happened) once the screen had cleared I turned them off, a few minutes later turned them back on has teh screen dampened again to find the intermittent wiper fully working. The car is fitted with a rain sensor I think as behind the int mirror once the cover is removed I can see two sensors.
Is anyone able to come up with a clue ? am I doing something wrong ? is the a switch on procedure that I need to follow ?
