Intermittent wipers not working

On first & second settings they just wipe rather than react to the amount of rain and start going quicker when the road speed increases.
Is it likely to be a rain sensor problem ?

I have heard that this may be adapted in STAR. Try pouring water over the sensor spot on the windscreen to see if that sets them off. If yes then I guess it works but needs STAR.

Reverting to standard intermittent tends to mean rain sensor failed

Thanks- it isn't really standard intermittent, on both intermittent settings it just wipes. visit to the dealer I think and they can sort the DAB switching to Gold FM every time it's switched on!

Unplug the connector and you will get standard intermittent back again, better than always on.
